摘要：Shannon's entropy power inequality, which plays a fundamental role in information theory and probability, may be seen as an analogue of the Brunn-Minkowski inequality in convex geometry. In this talk, we survey various recent developments on forward and reverse entropy power inequalities and discuss close connections with classical inequalities in convex geometry and functional analysis.

简介：李建阁，哈尔滨工业大学数学研究院教授，分别于2009年和2016年在哈尔滨工业大学和美国特拉华大学获得学士和博士学位，导师为李文博教授和Mokshay Madiman教授；2017年至2021年，先后在麻省理工学院和以色列希伯来大学从事博士后研究，2021年11月加入哈尔滨工业大学数学研究院；主要研究兴趣为概率论和信息论，研究成果在Ann. Appl. Probab., Geometric Aspects of Functional Analysis, IEEE Tran. Inf. Theory等期刊上发表；主持国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金（海外）和国家自然科学基金青年科学基金等项目。
